Prepare before installing

Confirm successful delivery, connect to a stable internet connection and read the plan instructions. Delivery details are in your order. Keep QR codes and activation details private. Check when validity begins before installing.

Add an eSIM using a QR code

Supported methods depend on your device and carrier. On iPhone, add an eSIM in cellular settings and scan the supplied QR code when prompted. If the plan supplies manual activation details, follow the device’s instructions to enter them. Menu names vary by system version. Follow Apple’s eSIM setup instructions and the plan requirements. For Android, consult the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific model.

Does installation start the validity period?

Not always. A plan may start at installation, on its first connection to a supported network or under another condition. Do not assume that installing before departure leaves the validity period untouched. Check your plan before deciding when to install.

Installed but unable to connect?

  1. Check that you are within coverage, have data remaining and the plan has not expired.
  2. Make sure the eSIM is enabled and selected for cellular data.
  3. Check data roaming and APN requirements against your plan instructions, rather than another plan’s settings.
  4. Check network reception. Try toggling airplane mode or restarting, then check again.
  5. If it still fails, record the error and time and provide the necessary order details to support.
